We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded in Australia, and recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are disproportionately affected by viral hepatitis and liver disease. We are committed to working with local Indigenous organisations to shape a health system which responds to the needs and aspirations of the community.
